Viva piñata I’m guessing everyone has seen this game before since it was all over TV and than it had a sleeper hit game last year that came out of left field. Now their back with Trouble in paradise Time to review this game could it live up to it’s already good standing? Let’s find out

This time around viva piñata has a story basically professor pester gains access to piñata island and accidentally erases everything and it’s your job to fix the computers by collecting all the piñatas and breeding them.

Just like in the other Viva piñata games your job is collecting and managing the garden and trying to attract as many rare and unique piñatas as possible. Each time you collect a piñata you gain experience that gives you more seeds and new houses and items that can be used to bring in exotic piñatas over. You can use traps placing them in the 2 new area’s Pinartic & the desert this time the game includes 100 new piñatas to unlock and a lot of new evolutions & variations and a few new tools at your hands such as the camera to snap pictures and upload to vivapinata.com. unlike Viva piñata 1 part 2 has support for the Xbox vision webcam and you can import piñatas from cards from online or buying from the store so you can easily start a garden and if you can’t achieve the piñata you need just find the card and aim the camera at the computer screen and bingo you now are a proud owner.

Controls are pretty much the same as in the older piñata games but with a little exception the bumpers now act as mini scrolls you can change between piñatas or fertilizer or seeds making it quicker to find a sick piñata. It’s a neat feature helping a lot when you can’t find that right candary to do the mating dance.

The game looks great just like the first one the same nice detail given to each of the piñatas giving them the look of a real piñata you would buy in a store. Nice detail given to each of them and great animations giving a nice entrance. It seems like no detail was left colors are very bribe-rant. The game looks almost exactly like the first game except with the new areas and new animations and such. The menu is exactly the same so it does really like you’re playing the first game except for the sequel

The sound in the game feels like the very first game almost exactly the same. Menu sounds are the same music while in the menus is the same. Piñatas all have their unique sounds but the game falls kind of flat on this area feeling like this was more of a expansion pack then really a full blown new game. The sound is sub par since with a 40$ price tag you think they would of added new background music to most of the game including the in-game menus

This game now has 4 player co-ops and system link co-op you can now create a garden with your friends and share stuff.
The game is great but it feels more like an expansion pack then really a full new game. The game looks exactly the same as its year old brother almost same soundtrack except with 100 new piñatas kind of help move you passed the bad faults. I really like how they included the Xbox vision in to the game allowing people such as kids who really just want to play a chance at some of the harder to get piñatas. And the finally released co-op that was promised in part one they added. I really liked viva piñata 1 and 2 is more of the same but nothing to go oh my gosh over but it’s a nice update to the franchise.
