Meet the Robinson was that hit movie from last year from Disney I thought it would start doing a few kid games to help even out all the adult games reviews. So here is my review for this game cross your fingers most movie games tend to be very bad lets see if this game fixes that.

The game has you as Wilbur with the help of the time machine going back to fix the mess ups through the movie. And showing how the time machine was stolen in the first place.

This game is like a platform-er mixed with a puzzle game with a ton of collecting jewels to build stuff. Running around using various gadgets to collect jewels and unlocking and building new ones with the help of your uncle. Some of the weapons in the game are pretty neat especially for a Disney game a levitation gun. A glove that allows you to tunnel underground and pop-up on enemies to do a power hit comes in very handy. A lot of the game is about moving objects such as little miner guys to have them blow up near a door. A few little puzzles here and there to keep you on your toes .

I was really surprised I thought this was going to be a children’s game with a lot of little corny style games. The game play is very solid not to bad for a kids game with a lot of great little side quests and collecting stuff. Then the game includes some mini games that aren’t bad to get you away from the core game play for a few minutes such as a monkey ball style game & a tennis style game with lights & the digging puzzles really get to be challenging

The game looks pretty good the levels look surprising really good and the animations with the bad guys and characters looks great. Really does give the whole movie feel a nice touch. Boss battles look great nice animations all around.

All the movie characters are here with great sound. Each enemy has their own unique sound and the voice casting is top notch really well done.
This game really surprised me I bought it to play with my nephew and the more I played it the more I enjoyed it the game wasn’t that bad as a lot of reviews stated. It’s got the whole movie vibe but it felt like it was a part of the movie that helped explain more a really nice touch. My only bad moment in the game was once you beat the last mission there is no way to go back and find the rest of the logos so you have to go back and play all the way through it again from the start. Other than that it’s a great kids game really impressed me not perfect but still not that bad
