Broken Game errr Sword 4, The Angel of death…. Or… is it?
Okay I was all set to review this game, but you know what? The piece of shit wont run right because THQ is a bunch of morons. I get tired of these games companies slapping down 10 bucks on a table to a developer and buying their game, putting a pretty box on it and then selling it with absolutely no responsibility what-so-ever. I tried to run this game and I kept getting black (or no) textures on all the characters. It was frustrating as hell!
After some research I came to find out, the game has a ‘conflict’ with multi-core CPUs… Hmmm raise your hand if your PC is multi-core.. Thats right.. most anything modern IS.. That means this game will bug the fuck out on you.. And they REFUSE to offer any kind of patch for this game to fix it. They just act like its not their problem. Well, then you get a SLASH on my site buddy. No review for you, and i highly recommend EVERYONE to stay away from this game of the series. You know i loved the first 2 broken swords.. Then they went quasi 3d with part 3, it was okay, i lived with it. then 4 went ALL 3d and shit doesn’t even work right. Well do yourself a favor and just skip this one, if THQ doesn’t care to make sure work, then I don’t care to give them a DIME of anyone else money. Save your dollars kids. I know this review is old and late but I’m sure there’s still someone out there who’s just getting into these great broken sword games.
THQ or whoever developed this POS, if you’re listening, PLEASE TEST YOUR SHIT ON A COMPUTER MADE THIS CENTURY BEFORE SHIPPING IT OUT! Nothing pisses me off more than colosal FAILURES of games that dont run. Bioshock crashed on my computer relentlessly, so much i couldn’t even play it. Same with 3 other friends of mine. When something is THAT wide spread, you FIX THAT SHIT! You dont hide and say ‘well we got your 18 bucks we dont care’. ASsholes, See you in the shithouse THQ if you are even still around, cuz you’ll be the next shit-hole to be shut down becuase you dont understand quality games make money, not quantity of shit games, ask nintendo, they are on their way there now.

Absolutly right!! i could play this in my old pc (sempron 2400 – single core), and it was an amazing game… i wanted to played it again because it is really cool as BS1 and BS2, wanted to live again this wonderfull game and then… PAF freaking black textures, no patches no fixes, only solution: Bios -> disable all cores but 1. wich sucks of course.
I really was furious, im still furious! damn…
Follow this review advice and don’t buy, ever, this game (unless you have an old pc single core)
